Merging field recordings, poemsongs, and familial voices from their home in Costa Rica, iiisa builds memory portals for the kindling of transformation. Their “pliable and fearless voice” (I Care If You Listen) emerges from beds of distortion and abstracted environments, deftly guiding the listener through ephemeral vignettes. Following performances at Big Ears Festival, Pioneer Works, and Roulette, their debut album released October 2, 2026 Leaving Records.
